What's the safest fencing for horses?
No-climb woven wire and vinyl or wood rail are the horse-safe standards — the tight mesh stops hooves from going through, and rail keeps horses off the wire. We avoid barbed wire around horses. We'll spec the right system for your animals.
How much does it cost to fence an acre?
It depends far more on the perimeter length and fence type than the acreage — a square acre needs roughly 830 ft of fence. Split-rail, field wire and high-tensile all price differently. Send us the property and we'll give a real per-run number.
Do you build cross-fencing and gates?
Yes — cross-fencing for rotational grazing, paddocks and pens, plus walk, drive and equipment gates sized for tractors and trailers.
Can you run fence across rough or wooded ground?
Yes — that's a lot of what farm fencing is. We clear the line, set corners and braces properly, and run it straight across slopes, creek crossings and tree lines. We can clear the fence line first with our own site-work crew.
Do you remove the old fence too?
Yes — tearing out old fencing is where we started. We haul off the old fence and set the new one in the same visit, so it's one crew, one number, remove and replace.
How soon can you start?
We schedule a site walk within 48 hours and a written quote within 24 hours after — most fences start within a week or two of approval.
